Pekoe

1. A black tea grading term that refers to a small, whole leaf tea. Pekoe tea grades are classified into various qualities, according to whether the adjacent young leaves (0,1 or 2) were picked along with the leaf buds.

2. A general term used to describe the unopened terminal leaf bud (tips) in tea flushes.
