Broken Pekoe (BP)

An expression that refers to a grade of tea, slightly larger than Broken Orange Pekoe, and gives rather less colour in the cup. Broken pekoe is primarily useful as a filler in blends, and is typically from Indonesia, Ceylon or Southern India.
