Broken Orange Pekoe (BOP)

A term used to indicate one of the most sought-after broken grades of tea; it is most prevalent in Ceylon, Southern India, Java and China. Broken orange pekoe is much smaller than any of the other leaf grades and contains the tip. The liquors have good strength and colour.
